Charlene & Mel Goffard, of Hortonville, opened Diver’s Realm, Inc. in July of 1998. This Year Diver’s Realm, Inc. will be 14 years old. It sure doesn't seem like it's been that long already. Last year started with a move to Westland Drive, a Hwy 41 frontage road South of the Fox River Mall but on the East side of the Highway (about 5 building South of Macco's Floor Covering Store). Since moving we've been seeing lots of new faces. Being visible from Hwy 41 is helping more people find us. We do a lot of local diving and occasional trips to warmer locations. We invite you to stop by and check us out. Join us for a dive if you can. Diver’s Realm is a full service dive center offering rentals, repairs, sales, travel, and instruction.
Diver’s Realm, Inc. teaches many of PADI Courses. Whether you want to learn to snorkel, scuba dive in a lake or go someplace more exotic we can take you there.
About the Owners
Charlene Goffard became a certified diver in 1976. She’s been an active PADI Diving Instructor since 1981 and is a PADI Master Instructor. She teaches many of PADI’s courses including: Ice Diving, Wreck Diving, Equipment Specialist, Underwater Photography, Rescue, Divemaster, and more.
Melvin Goffard learned to dive in 1983. In 1986 he became a PADI Divemaster. Mel does most of our equipment repairs and Nitrox mixing. He is a machinist by day and helps out in the store evening & weekends.
The other member of our family is Matthew. He was just four when we opened Diver's Realm. He's grown up in the dive store and underwater. He became a PADI Seal when he was 8 and was certified as a PADI JR Open Water Diver in July of 2004. In 2006 he completed the Jr Advanced Open Water Diver Course. Fall of 2008 he completed the PADI Rescue Course. November 2009 he finished up the remaining requirements needed to be a Master Scuba Diver. This Spring he graduates from High School and it's off to college in the fall. Matthew helps out in the store and keeps our computer system running.
